DIY fix for toshiba Satellite M40 (265) broken hinge (thanks dad!)
31 January 2009last week my laptop's right hinge broke, and I couldn't close it anymore.
after trying several things like glue, more glue, drilling a hole in what's left in order to fix it, we came up with the idea of building a "new" one:
now the broken part is removed
the next two pics are the left hinge which is ok, the right one should be like that

There's a plastic thingy that hides the speakers and stuff, but I haven't done any pics with it yet.
it's not very elegant, but it works !
